Psira Registration Requirements

To register with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) in South Africa, applicants must adhere to specific requirements. These conditions differ slightly between individuals and security businesses.

For Individuals:

  • Be at least 18 years old[3].

  • No criminal record, especially relating to scheduled offenses in the Private Security Industry Regulation Act[6].
