- Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4 must also have a diploma endorsement, with at least 50% for English (home or first additional language) and 40% for Mathematical Literacy or Mathematics. Life Orientation is excluded from APS calculation. For these applicants, a minimum APS of 20 is still required[3].
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is possible for applicants who do not meet traditional requirements. Such cases are reviewed individually by the university’s Senate[2].
