The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) bursary supports students in architecture at accredited public institutions in South Africa who meet specific eligibility and documentation requirements[1][3].
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be a South African citizen[1].
- You must have completed Matric (National Senior Certificate)[1][3].
- You must be studying towards an Architecture qualification and be entering your 2nd year or later (up to Honours) in 2025[1][3].
- You must be registered at an accredited Architectural Learning Site at a public institution in South Africa. Applications from private institutions are not accepted[3].
- If you do not have a disability: your total household income must be NOT more than R350,000 per annum[1][3].
- If you do have a disability: your total household income must be NOT more than R600,000 per annum. You must submit a medical note confirming your disability[1][3].
- Preference is given to candidates from designated groups[1][3].
